My journey began in 1987
Born a Virgo in the year when autumn was present
The leaves in change my life was a blessing
A time of love when family meant something
We lived in Denver the dream was sweet
Cause Father had a good job as well my mother
Things seemed certain but what did I know
I’m An adolescent inside the body I hold
But I'm not blind to the truth that I've seen
I know why mom left these eyes don't mislead
I may have been young but I recognise abuse
What a great role model molding my youth
Broke away from the man that ruined the design
Moved back to pueblo said goodbye to the plan
Waved to my past new horizons insight
It's a vision that I've seen just another day to night

Now School was rough for the dorky type
Had to stand toe to blow and fist to kick

But The bruises that where left went more the skin deep
They hit me in the soul but I'm strong not weak
I've dealt with your words for longer then I should
I took the abuse and your constant attacks
But I grew from this hate and learned to believe

This life I live holds the message I conceived
